Family Day Winter Games

One of the main goals of the Heritage Lakes Community Association is to create opportunities for neighbours to come together and have fun.  With that in mind, be sure to mark February 21 on your calendar, because the Family Day Winter Games are coming again to Heritage Lakes at École la Mission.  There will be free skating, sliding, hay rides, and lots of family games, so come out and enjoy winter fun between 1 pm and 4 pm.

This event is open to all residents of St. Albert.

Partners in Parks

The City of St. Albert’s Partners In Parks program reviews proposals by residents who volunteer to maintain City-owned property.  The work can be as simple as maintaining a flower bed, or as complex as repairing public amenities and infrastructure.  Call the City’s Community and Protective Services at 780-418-6005 for information and guidance.

The Heritage Pond South Creek Restoration Committee started their project in 2010 and will complete it during 2011. Heritage Lakes Creek Info

Christmas Lights

If you’re interested in checking out some Christmas Lights this holiday season, the Edmonton Journal has a list of some of the best displays in the Edmonton area.  You can find the list here.

As you’ll see, there is a block on Erin Ridge that has made the list.  It is definitely worth checking out.  If you do go, be sure to bring a donation for the St. Albert Food Bank.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Christmas Party

Our annual Christmas Party will be held at École La Mission  (46 Heritage Drive) on Thursday, December 2 from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.  Everyone is welcome to attend this event, but activities are geared for children 13 and under. There is no charge for HLCA members (or their grandchildren from outside Heritage Lakes), and non-members can also attend for a drop-in charge of $5 per child.

Activities will include games and Christmas crafts.  Santa will drop by to talk to the kids and distribute a gift.

Hope to see you there!
